Trillion
Trillion vs Mem0
Capability
Bring your own AI
Product
Mem0
In short
Mem0 is a memory layer developers build into their own agents. Trillion is a product a person connects to the AI apps they already use.
What Trillion does
Trillion has no AI of its own. You connect the AI apps you already use, such as ChatGPT, Claude and Codex, and each one reads and adds to the same pursuits, decisions, files, lists, messages and tools in your Trillion. What you tell one AI, the others can read.
What they do
- Positioned as long-term memory for AI agents. - Has an open-source version you can host yourself. - A hosted MCP server connects many AI clients. - Memories are stored in the Mem0 account, not locally, when using the MCP server. - Pro tier adds graph memory and consolidation. - Priced by add and retrieval requests.
What they do that Trillion does not
- Open-source, self-hostable memory engine (Docker or library). - Developer SDKs (Python/JavaScript) and setup guides for 22 frameworks such as LangChain and CrewAI. - Enterprise on-prem deployment (pricing page).
Their price
Starter: $19/month (50,000 add requests and 5,000 retrieval requests a month); free Hobby tier
